I have received a letter of notification

When someone carries out a credit check on a private person, the person automatically receives a letter of notification. This is a letter in which we inform you of:

  • a completed credit check
  • who requested information about you
  • the data that was disclosed
  • contact information for our company and the company that carried out the credit check

If you are unfamiliar with the company that requested information about you, we recommend that you first contact the company directly to find out why a credit check was requested. For example, if you have purchased a mobile phone in a shop, the letter of notification may contain the name of the telephone company with which you took out the subscription rather than the name of the shop.
